The Last Airbender (Wii) Score: Free!

The Last Airbender

Starring Aang.

It’s very likely you’re familiar with Mick Gordon‘s work, even if you don’t realise it. The Australian composer has created music for some of the most diverse video games in the industry – from Destroy All Humans! 2 and Looney Tunes: Acme Arsenal to the film adaptation of Postal.

More recently though, he sat down and created a pretty epic soundtrack for the video game The Last Airbender. It seems he’s been inundated with feedback for his work – and he’d like to give something back.

To thank everybody, Mick’s making the entire score available to everyone – for free!

Here’s a quick sample: The Death of Princess Yue & Revenge, from The Last Airbender original video game soundtrack by Mick Gordon. Featuring Jeff Ball on Solo Violin and vocals by Caitlin Murphy.

Mick says:

The only condition of downloading is that you share it around. That’s right – share it around!

It’s a 107MB zip file (MP3 320 constant bit rate, 48000, 24 bit), hosted on his website (no annoying free file hosts here) – and I’m listening to it right now. It really is something pretty special – even if you haven’t played the game – totally worth a listen.

P.S. – Make sure you email me and tell me which is your favorite track:
P.P.S – And make sure you email Jeff Ball and tell him how great his violin playing is:
