Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game is comprised of a number of very cool elements. The retro hat-tip gaming style, the pixellated imagery, and the bleepy, bloopy soundtrack from Anamanaguchi. While we can’t extract the thumb-bruising beat’em’up style from the game itself, and the images are firmly wedged inside your console, we can give you the opportunity to rock out to the game’s music anywhere you care to mention.
Due August 24th (that’s today or tomorrow, depending on when iTunes updates their library), you’ll be able to purchase and download 45 minutes of 8-bit punk and then proceed to rock out in style. Right now though, there are playable samples available to get you in the mood, and Anamanaguchi‘s space-age website also contains a bunch of their other tracks.
I can think of one person who’ll be lining up for this one – and I think I might be close behind.
