Steam Weekly Top Sellers: February 7th, 2010

Each week, gamers around the world log onto digital distribution platform Steam, to get their latest gaming fix, and each week, playerattack lets you know which games were the most popular.

It always amuses me when a game that’s not even out yet tops the charts – and you’d better believe that’s what happened this week, with another in third place and yet another in sixth. Have the stars aligned for a good release year in 2010, or is this just a one-off fluke?

Time will tell, I guess – but for now, check out who else made it into the Steam Charts ending February 7th, 2010:

#1 – Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Limited Edition

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 brings the award-winning Battlefield gameplay to the forefront of PC gaming with best-in-class vehicular combat and unexpected “Battlefield moments.” New vehicles like the ATV and a transport helicopter allow for all-new multiplayer tactics on the Battlefield. With the Frostbite-enabled Destruction 2.0 system, you can take down entire buildings and create your own fire points by blasting holes through cover. You can also compete in four-player teams in two squad-only game modes, fighting together to unlock exclusive awards and achievements.
