Do you love games? Do you love writing? Player Attack wants you!
We’re looking for volunteer writers who know their way around the games industry (or are willing to learn), who are prepared to hunt down the latest breaking stories, and who know there’s more to gaming than just the super-shiny headlines.
As a news writer, you’ll put together stories based on press releases, as well as chasing down your own leads. We need someone who can write fast, accurate updates as well as taking the time to craft beautiful, original content. Payment is via a revenue-share agreement – the more money the site makes, the more money you make.
You can write for Player Attack from anywhere in the world – all you need is an internet connection and a grasp of the English language – but we particularly want to hear from you if you’re in North America or Europe.
If you’ve written for websites in the past (even if it’s got nothing to do with video games or is “just a blog”), we want to hear from you.
Send us a brief recap of your work experience as well as two sample news stories, based on these two press releases:
- Xbox One is Biggest Launch in Xbox History –
- Preorder Reaper of Souls Today and Face Death on March 25 –
Other things we need to know:
- Your email address
- Your Skype / MSN / Google Talk (or similar) username
- Which timezone you are in
- Which days / hours you are available in an average week
- Can you work weekends?
Bundle that all up and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org – including everything in the body of the email (no attachments, please!). We’ll be in touch!
