Explore the entire galaxy, hundreds or thousands of systems. In Black Sky humans will be able to explore planets and nebulas, and anomalies that will give the player a new technology(s) or the following:
- Find ancient civilizations ruins and technologies.
- Find new metals and minerals that will help in various sectors in the game (research, production, etc)
- Find rare alien artifacts that have certain meanings in the game, and not to the game.
- Find non-sentient alien species that can be captured to sell to other races or to give.
- And the rest are secrets you will have to play to find out.
- Make first contact with over 12 different alien races.
- Create colonies, star bases, asteroid bases, battle stations, research facilities, mining facilities.
- Play any role- bounty hunter, merchant, explorer, military etc.
- Board enemy ships and take them over with your crew.
- Destroy entire planets, or even star systems.
- Start wars, make peace, or do whatever you want, or play the single player adventure.
