Distributed on GameTap, these Sam & Max chapters are based on all-new content, not on the Sam and Max: Freelance Police (which was cancelled in 2004). Steve Purcell, lead designer on the original, is working closely with Telltale and chose them to develop it, and the company is partly staffed with former LucasArts employees.
