Destiny beta key gives you three download codes

If you've been thinking about playing a little Destiny but don't like the idea of playing with strangers, Activision and Bungie has come up with an alternative. Every beta key for the upcoming shooter comes with three download codes, so you can bring a couple of mates along with you.

Once you've received your code (either by pre-ordering the game or winning one through other means), you then need to head to to set up a profile. Head to the redeemed codes section to pick your platform, and you're good to go.

Platform selection for the Beta is now available! Each code will grant you 3 download keys, enough to field a full Fireteam on the console of your choosing!

Xbox One Destiny codes are global, and can be redeemed by anyone. PlayStation 4 codes, on the other hand, are region-locked - and if you're in a PAL location (like Europe, Australia or New Zealand), you won't be able to select your PS4 code just yet... but we're promised you'll definitely have it in your hot little hands before the PlayStation beta kicks off on July 17th.

Want a quick reminder of the dates that everything's happening for Destiny? We've got you covered.

Thanks, Brenna!
