Capcom has finally revealed the long teased fifth new character for Ultra Street Fighter IV, joining Poison, Elena, Hugo and Rolento, and her name is Decapre, boosting the final roster count to an impressive 44 warriors. As promised, she has never appeared as a playable character in the series but appeared briefly in Street Fighter Alpha 3 as one of M. Bison's brainwashed 'dolls'.
For the more technically minded beat-em up fan, eventhubs have collated all the frame by frame breakdowns they can on her move set, but for the less hardcore fan all you probably need to know is that she plays somewhere between Juni from the Street Fighter Alpha series and Cammy from the main Street Fighter series, with a dash of hundred-hand slap added for good measure.
“Decapre now joins the fight! Although a partial mask hides a giant burn mark located on this Russian beauty’s face, challengers will be scarred by her quick and elusive scramble moves as well as her psycho power infused attacks, which allow her to share her pain with her opponents,”
Ultra Street Fighter IV is unleashed on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in June, with the PC version due in August. The title will be released as a stand-alone game and also as upgrade DLC for Super Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition. The update will also see the PC version ditch the soon to be no more Games For Windows Live in favor of Steam.
