RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 on track for iOS, PC

Strap yourselves in: RollerCoaster Tycoon is coming back. Atari has brought the news this morning that RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 Mobile is set to make a splash a little later this year - and despite the name, it's coming to PC as well as iOS.

It's been ten years since we first saw RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, so this new version is well overdue.

Prepare yourself for 20 pre-designed coasters and a whole stack of new features and attractions, as well as the usual stack of build-your-own bits plus - of course - the ability to create and share your parks with Facebook and Game Center support. Visit your friends' parks, share roller coaster blueprints... the world is your oyster, at just US$3.

The initial big reveal only mentioned the mobile versions, but Atari has since taken to Twitter, explaining that a "PC experience" is also in the works.
