Ubisoft is ramping up to next week's release of Assassin's Creed: Liberation HD - and just in case you were wondering why you should visit the 2012 Vita-only title, we've got some screenshots to show you.
Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation features the series' first female protagonist - Aveline de Grandpré - an African-French assassin. The game is set between 1765 and 1777, around the end of the French/Indian War in New Orleans.
Liberation HD is a little different. The character models have been revamped, the backgrounds injected with detail and life, and even the storyline didn't escape unscathed, with the campaign getting a full reworking and a bonus collection of new missions.
Want in? Assassin's Creed: Liberation HD is headed to PS3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC from January 15th.
