Is Skyrim headed to PS4 and Xbox One?

Bethesda's official website for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has been updated with news of two new platforms for the game, if you look in the right place.

Available now on Xbox 360, PS3, PC, PS4 and Xbox One reads the North American version of the website (the international one does not feature the new additions). While the three currently-gen versions feature links to purchase copies of the game on your chosen platform, the two new ones do not - presumably as there are no copies to purchase just yet.

At this stage, Bethesda is remaining tight-lipped on the project, but with Square Enix revamping Tomb Raider for the new consoles, we think a polished-up Skyrim is hardly out of the question.
