Do the milkshake the milkshake do the shake
You'll be able to use your real-world money to boost your in-game bank account and buy the most expensive cars, if you don't feel like spending the time required to earn it all the old-fashioned way.
Sony is quick to reassure fans:
It is completely optional and not prompted in the in-game experience at all. We do not require players to purchase or use purchased in-game currency to experience or progress through the complete game.
...so - how much is your time worth? In-game credits will be available for less than $5, all the way up to US$49.99, depending on how many you want to grab.
To put this into perspective, one of the game's most expensive cars is the glorious Jaguar XJ13, which sells for 20 million credits. That is, two 7.5 million packs and two 2.5 million packs - a cool US$140. Sure, it's a better car than you'll get in Angry Birds Go!, but when you add that to the amount you already paid for the game...?
Gran Turismo 6 is set to be one of the last PlayStation 3 exclusive titles when it arrives later this week.
I like video games and music and cups of tea and noodles and beagles and colour-cycling LEDs.
