With BlizzCon less than a week away, it seems that one of Blizzard's big reveals may have snuck out a little early. Internet sleuths have spotted a trademark registration for Warlords of Draenor, something that sounds remarkably like the sort of thing you'd name an expansion for World of Warcraft.
The registration - spotted by MMO Champion - covers computer games in various forms (including software, discs and downloadable), and ties in nicely with the domain warlordsofdraenor.com, which was also registered a month ago.
Draenor is, of course, a location in the Warcraft universe - it's the ancestral home of the orcs, and the newfound home of the Draenei, who we last saw featured heavily in the first World of Warcraft expansion, The Burning Crusade.
It's been a few years since we've been back there, and three more expansions have literally changed the world as we know it - is it maybe time to revisit old grounds?
Whether this is a new WoW expansion, another game or indeed simply a hoax, we should have more of an idea of what's in stall this weekend, as BlizzCon kicks off in California. Player Attack will be there, bringing you all the latest news direct from Blizzard - keep an eye out!
I like video games and music and cups of tea and noodles and beagles and colour-cycling LEDs.
