Welcome to Player Attack!
Seems like today's a good day for iOS releases: Double Fine's subterranean adventure puzzler The Cave has launched on mobile platforms - and we've got a trailer to show off just how it translates to touch screen controls.
The Cave - from the creative genius that is Ron Gilbert - first hit PC and console back in January. If you haven't checked it out yet, here's what you're missing.
A bunch of "unlikely adventurers" have combined their own unique personalities and stories into a loose team, clambering into a sprawling cave, "in order to find that which is most important to each of them". There are seven explorers available, but you can only take three with you into the depths of The Cave - remember, each has their own motivations and some may be more useful than others.
The Cave - which is alive, of course - is filled with puzzles, a medieval castle, a subterranean amusement park and even a (fully armed!) nuclear research facility.
The game has been revamped exclusively for iOS to incorporate new touch screen controls - and it's shiny enough that it will need an iPhone 5S / iPod touch 5 / iPad 2 / iPad Mini or newer in order to run.
I like video games and music and cups of tea and noodles and beagles and colour-cycling LEDs.
