Do the milkshake the milkshake do the shake
Want to know what's on Player Attack this week? Well, here you go - a quick look at what you can expect from the next episode of Australia's newest video games TV series!
One of the most exciting games of 2013 is getting ready to hit shelves around the world, and it's bringing a whole toybox of fun with it. Disney Infinity launches worldwide next week - and in case you're still not on board, we've got an in-depth interview with Executive Producer John Vignocchi to try and convince you.
For the first time, Disney and Pixar Animation Studios’ most popular characters come together in a magical storytelling experience. Disney Infinity is an all-new gaming platform that combines Disney’s most popular franchises with one of today’s hottest trends in toys – interactive figures that come to life in video games. Players can place real-world toy versions of their favorite Disney characters onto a device called the Disney Infinity Base and transport them into the virtual game worlds of “Monsters University,” “The Incredibles” and “Pirates of the Caribbean,” as well as into a giant Toy Box where they can create their own Disney experiences.
Then, Chad changes the pace a bit, with a first-look at upcoming action FPS title Wolfenstein: The New Order, recently delayed into 2014. It's the long-awaited return of BJ Blascowitz - but will it live up to the scrutiny of long-time fans?
Wolfenstein: The New Order is an action-adventure shooter being developed by MachineGames, a studio comprised of seasoned developers known for creating compelling, critically-acclaimed story-driven games. Wolfenstein has been widely credited for helping establish and popularise the first-person shooter genre, and Wolfenstein: The New Order is a reimagining of this franchise – offering players a gripping and dramatic experience.
And finally, if you've been looking for a bit of grand strategy that doesn't look and feel like a spreadsheet, take a few moments to check out Europa Universalis IV - we caught up with Henrik Fahreus from Paradox Development Studio to find out what's in store across 400 years of gameplay.
Prepare to join a worldwide community of over half a million players and experience the drama and tension that only the grand stage of history can provide. Following on the success of the critically acclaimed Crusader Kings II, Paradox Development Studio is ready to take you to worlds both old and new – each yours for the taking.
All that, plus the latest in gaming news and that awesome Steelseries competition!
I like video games and music and cups of tea and noodles and beagles and colour-cycling LEDs.
