Microsoft hints at Xbox One launch November 5th

Call of Duty: Ghosts is set to hit shelves on November 5th. It is also set to be a launch title for the Xbox One. By combining these two details - and a handy graphic from Microsoft, it seems that we might be getting the Xbox One in just under three months.

The UK official Xbox website is currently plastered with Call of Duty: Ghosts promotion, including a banner announcing the game's launch on November 5th. We already knew that was when the game was scheduled to hit PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, but the only branding on the website is for the Xbox One.

What does this all mean?

What does this all mean?

Sure, this could be a case of Microsoft sending mixed messages - it might be intended as an "also available on" platform, or an "available from" date, but on the surface it's saying just one thing, loud and clear.

We're not expecting any official comments from Microsoft or Activision, but we've asked them about this anyway. Until then, speculate wildly, and rest assured: You will be able to play CoD: Ghosts from November 5th, we're just not sure which platform yet.
