Late harvest: Plants vs. Zombies 2 delayed

Bad news, procrastinators: Plants vs. Zombies 2: It's About Time has been delayed. PopCap had originally planned the glorious, green-thumbed tower defence title for a July 18th launch, but now has been forced to push it back to the nebulous "later in the summer".

The news came via the game's official Twitter account, which told fans to "stay tuned for more details".

We're sorry for the delay, but want to make sure the game lives up to fans' expectations.

We got a look at Plants vs. Zombies 2 while we were at E3 earlier this month, and it's already doing a pretty delightful job of living up to our expectations. Stay tuned to Player Attack for more - including all the details on the game's all-new undead and the nifty additional greens.
