[E32013] Xbox One dated, priced for Aussies

We can confirm that the Xbox One will be launching in Australia in November 2013, as one of the 21 confirmed launch territories. We now have details on what you'll get in the box, and how much you'll pay for it- and if you want one on Day One, you'd better get your preorderin' shoes on.

The new Xbox One

The new Xbox One

First, the magic numbers. We don't yet have a day of the month when the new console will hit. We do, however, know how much it'll set you back.

At launch, the Xbox One system will include a console (of course), which brings with it a 500GB hard drive, a blu-ray player and built in WiFi. There's also a new Kinect peripheral, a new wireless controller, and a 14-day trial of Xbox Live gold. All of this added up will cost you US$499 in North America, AU$599 in Australia, £429 (GBP) in the U.K. and €499 (EUR) in European markets.

For exactly the same price, while supplies last, you can grab a limited-edition commemorative bundle available on Day One. That'll get you an Xbox One in "premium black" packaging, plus a limited edition wireless controller, plus a unique commemorative achievement. there's a few bonus things you'll get for some games, too: Ryse, Forza Motorsport 5, Kinect Sports Rivals and Dead Rising 3.

Pleasantly surprised by the price. Honestly thought it would be quite a bit more than that.
