It's been a long time coming, with Australia famously all-but banning the 2011 reboot of the classic fighting franchise (twice). Since then, Mortal Kombat has picked up a stack of awards (including Fighting Game of the Year from the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences), and been the lucky recipient of a stack of post-release DLC.
Now, the game is not only packed with gameplay features like King of the Hill, a comprehensive story-mode and a nostalgic arcade battle style, but it also includes 15 Klassic Skins, three Klassic Fatalities, and - wait for it - Freddy Krueger as an optional character.
I like video games and music and cups of tea and noodles and beagles and colour-cycling LEDs.
