Ubisoft is slowly taking the wraps off its Wild West shooter Call of Juarez: Gunslinger. First announced last year at PAX, it's been a while since we've heard anything from developer Techland, but now, we've got a trailer to show off what's in store.
From the dust of a gold mine to the dirt of a saloon, Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is a real homage to the Wild West tales and era. When justice is bought and paid for, enforced by the man with the quickest draw, who’s to say what freedom, or even justice, means.
You'll run into some of the West's most (in)famous characters - Butch Cassidy, Pat Garret and Jesse James - as you play through the lives of the legends.
Specifically, you're wearin' the dusty boots of Silas Greaves, a ruthless bounty hunter. It's time for Silas to tell his story, and for you to relive each moment as he winds his way through the history of the Wild West era. The lines between myth and man start to blur, with historical facts blended with fantastical stories.
No release date for Call of Juarez: Gunslinger just yet - it's due out before the middle of the year, for Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and digital download on PC.
I like video games and music and cups of tea and noodles and beagles and colour-cycling LEDs.
