MGR:Revengeance breaks Australian street date

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance has been released around the world this week, but - for whatever reason, Australia wasn't meant to get the game until February 26. That is, until a local retailer ignored that whole "street date" dealie and put the game on sale today.

A number of gamers have admitted picking up copies of Revengeance from assorted retailers around Australia, with JB Hi-Fi named as a major player.

We can't guarantee that your selected retailer will have copies today (remember, Mindscape blamed the delay on a shipping error), but if you have pre-ordered Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, it might be worth dropping in.
