Think E3 is easy?
Watch here on E3 week and see how much exercise I do.
If you haven't yet picked up a copy of beautiful tower defence(ish) game Plants vs. Zombies, you now have the perfect opportunity to put things right. PopCap has made the game available completely free on iOS, meaning you can pick up either the iPhone (normally $2.99) or HD iPad (normally $6.99) version right now, no questions asked.
Attention: Plants Vs Zombies is free today for iOS. I've heard this game is pretty good. Might as well give it a shot cuz #YOLO.
While iOS games are released for free all the time, we're typically given a reason for the move, whether it's from the developer or from Apple itself. This time around, both companies are staying pretty quiet on the topic, not explaining why, but also not mentioning how long the discount will last (so you'd better get in quick!).
At this stage, it's iOS only, but don't lose hope if you use another smartphone: Green has told Android fans that "Your day will come. Someday."
The original Plants vs. Zombies hit the iTunes App Store in 2010, and we're only now hearing hints of a sequel, expected to arrive in the first half of 2013.
I like video games, fishing, Depeche Mode, long walks on the beach, writing discussion papers and cups of tea. Not necessarily in that order.
