JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle still doesn't have a confirmed Western release on the cards, but we now know when the 3D anime fighter will land in its homeland. Namco Bandai has confirmed that the CyberConnect2-developed game will arrive in Japan on August 29th, prompting gamers around the world to wonder whether six months of language lessons will be enough to understand what's going on.
But wait! There's more! Gematsu has revealed that there's a very shiny collector's edition on the way, as well. The "Gold Experience Box" will contain:
Mind you, for all that swag, you have to pay the big bucks - the Gold Experience Box for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure All-Star Battle will set you back ¥16,980 ($182).
The bigger problem, of course, is that this has only been announced for Japan, with nobody even hinting at an international release. Given the series' ridiculous following in comic circles around the world, we're hoping that JoJo will hit shelves somewhere other than Japan, but - until we hear officially, we're keeping our fingers crossed.
I like video games, fishing, Depeche Mode, long walks on the beach, writing discussion papers and cups of tea. Not necessarily in that order.
