Scott Pilgrim vs. The World DLC delayed …again.

File this one under "Getting beyond a joke" - the oft-promised, oft-delayed, eagerly-anticipated DLC pack for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World has been pushed back. Again.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game

Last week, the Multiplayer + Wallace Pack was listed on the upcoming XBLA content schedule - again. It first popped up back in August 2012, so we should have been warned.

Alas, we all thought - in combination with the achievements list - that this would be the time!

...but today, Ubisoft has released another official statement:

The downloadable content for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game has been delayed for fine-tuning and to incorporate feedback from the passionate Scott Pilgrim community. Ubisoft is addressing feedback from the community on the best ways to honor retro games in the Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game DLC in an accurate and respectful manner. Ubisoft, and the new team developing the DLC, respect creative properties and, of course, want to be sure to deliver a game experience that is a proper tribute to the Scott Pilgrim franchise.

At least this time we don't have a new promised release date, so we aren't holding our breath, and we aren't circling anything on the calendar. Scott Pilgrim multiplayer will get here when it gets here - we've already been waiting two years, what's a little longer?

(Here, have some animated pixel art!)
