Think E3 is easy?
Watch here on E3 week and see how much exercise I do.
Crysis 3 is getting closer and closer, with the giant nanodome preparing to engulf New York City in less than a month from now. While we were celebrating this week's release of the multiplayer open beta, we found this unpublished video interview with producer Mike Read from Crytek, talking all about what's in store when the game hits shelves.
Note: This was recorded in December 2012, hence the references to "February next year" - don't worry, the game hasn't been delayed by 12 months!
The Crysis 3 beta is open to everybody and pits gamer against nanosuited gamer in a sample of what you'll be able to expect from the full game. You'll get two game modes (Hunter and Crash Site), two maps (Museum and Airport), the ability to reboot your suit, and all of the unlock features up to level 10 (full game is capped at level 50). There's also a healthy serving of game-changing weaponry, plenty of vertical gameplay, and - of course - total ability customisation, so you can play Crysis 3, even in this small bite-sized piece, just the way you like it.
Crysis 3 is due out for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 on February 21st in Australia, rated MA15+.
I like video games, fishing, Depeche Mode, long walks on the beach, writing discussion papers and cups of tea. Not necessarily in that order.
