First taste is Free: The Walking Dead sale for iOS

If you haven't yet tried The Walking Dead, and you want to know what all the fuss is over this arguably Game Of The Year release, Telltale is offering you the first taste free, putting episode one, A New Day, in the iTunes App Store for the princely sum of $0.00.

The way it works is this: You download the base App for free, and get the first episode thrown in as well. Then, once you get hooked, you can buy the other four episodes for US$4.99 each - or US$14.99 in a handy bundle (c'mon, you're going to want the whole lot, right?). Normally, the first episode would also cost you five bucks, and this is a limited-time offer, so you'd better hop to it.

The Walking Dead is also available for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 - but there's no freebies for you.
