Think E3 is easy?
Watch here on E3 week and see how much exercise I do.
Epic Games has staked a claim on all of your money, unveiling the publisher's official online store, packed full of stuff to do with Gears of War, Infinity Blade and even Jazz Jackrabbit. If you act fast, expedited shipping means you might just get your new gear before Christmas!
Kendall Boyd, Epic’s director of marketing, worldwide studios explains:
We’re excited to launch Epic’s official store and provide our loyal fans apparel and merchandise that they can’t find anywhere else. Our hope is to grow our brand via channels such as the Epic Store and celebrate all of our terrific intellectual properties with the community.
"Notable mentions" tucked away in the Epic Games Store include this snazzy Gears of War schematic poster, this impressive Jazz Jackrabbit tee, this Anniversary mug (coming soon), and - arguably my favourite - an Unreal Tournament Ultrakill shirt.
At the moment, the store (EpicGamesStore.com/) is mostly full of t-shirts (in sizes up to 4XL), with an assortment of exclusive designs that cannot be bought elsewhere. There are plans to increase the catalogue in the not-so-distant future to include more merchandise and other collectable items, so keep your eyes peeled.
I like video games, fishing, Depeche Mode, long walks on the beach, writing discussion papers and cups of tea. Not necessarily in that order.
