Just when it seemed like we really might be getting BioShock Infinite in February, Real Life stepped in and squished our hopes and dreams. Irrational Games has officially revealed the game has been delayed by a full month, now set to arrive on March 26th around the world.
Studio head Ken Levine explained to PCGamer that it'll be worth the wait - "the ending of the game is the most ambitious thing we’ve ever done in our careers as a company”, and something "absolutely different" to anything we've seen so far in video games.
It is either going to be something incredibly wonderful or people are going to burn down our office. We are very aware of that, we want to make sure this experience was the reason you say the end was very meaningful.
So - time to edit your calendars: BioShock Infinite is set to rock your world on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, starting March 26, 2013.
I like video games and music and cups of tea and noodles and beagles and colour-cycling LEDs.
