Borderlands 2 Mr. Torgue DLC goes live

In what is possibly one of my favourite announcements and launches in recent memory, Borderlands 2 DLC Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage is now available for Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3.

Revealed in a spectacular takeover of Gearbox's ECHOcast twitter account last week, Mister Torgue is a loving, gentle guy with an abhorrence towards violence and a love of fluffy--

҉   ARE YOU READY TO BLOW SOME SH*T UP B*TCHES   ҉

Featuring a new currency (Torgue Tokens) and new vending machines to go with them, alas, the DLC does not increase the level cap, but we are assured one is definitely on its way soon. But with high-level enemies such as the Badassaurus Rex, maxed out characters will definitely have something to play with in the meantime.

Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage is available for Xbox 360, PC and PS3, though the latter may not yet be up (it will go live during the weekly PSN update tonight), and is 800 MS points on the Xbox 360 and US$9.99/£7.99 on PSN.
