Jet Set Radio Vita’s last-minute delay

Sorry gamers, the Vita version of Jet Set Radio has been unexpectedly delayed, says Sega. The game - out now for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Windows PCs and (ahem), Dreamcast - apparently requires a little more work before making it onto the newest Sony handheld.

The Vita version was due to launch today, October 16th, but - alas - Sega now explains the game requires "necessary development optimisations", and it's not quite ready.

It's quite a blow to retro gaming fans looking to visit Tokyo-to via a touch-screen, and, to make things worse, Sega hasn't given us a new release date just yet, meaning Jet Set Radio on Vita could indeed still be quite a while off.
