New SimCity screenshots are a disaster

If you're one of the many, many people who simply cannot wait for next March and the chance to own the brand new SimCity from EA and Maxis, these new screenshots aren't going to make your life any easier.

We don't have much more information to accompany these four images, but if - as they say - a picture tells a thousand words, you should be able to piece something together.

Let's see, we've got a meteor shower, an earthquake, a tornado and... what's that? A UFO?

So far, so good - but there's one giant disaster we're still hanging out for. What form will the monster take in this new SimCity? C'mon, EA - curious minds demand answers!

SimCity is due out for PC and Mac in March 2013 - a date that just cannot come soon enough.
