Think E3 is easy?
Watch here on E3 week and see how much exercise I do.
Created back in 1993 by Richard Garfield, the world's first trading card game, Magic: The Gathering, is nearly twenty years old - and it's still as popular as ever, with this year's release Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 topping the PlayStation Network sales charts for a month after launch. If you haven't checked the game out yet, here's your chance - this weekend sees Duels of the YouTubers, and to celebrate, we've got five copies of the game (coupled with five expansion decks) to give away!
Kicking off in around 24 hours from now, on Friday October 12th at 8PM ET (click for local timezone information), five YouTube gamers are set to compete head-to-head in Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 - and it's all set to be streamed live via Twitch TV.
Tune in to see who is the ultimate duellist: Will it be Tobuscus, Black Nerd Comedy, Katers17, OMFGCATA or Panser? HuskyStarcraft is on-hand to help host the event, and the team's been pumping out all sorts of pre-game entertainment via the Duels of the YouTubers Facebook page.
Now, about that giveaway...
Player Attack has five Steam codes for Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013, each with a bonus Expansion Deck, to be awarded to the first five people who can successfully tell us the name of the man who created Magic: The Gathering back in 1993.
This competition has now closed. Good luck to all who entered!
...if you're not one of the lucky five, don't despair! There is still a Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 demo version available, absolutely free, so you can still learn the basics of the game along with the YouTubers.
Don't forget! Friday October 12th at 8PM ET! Sign in and watch the magic unfold!
I like video games, fishing, Depeche Mode, long walks on the beach, writing discussion papers and cups of tea. Not necessarily in that order.
