Think E3 is easy?
Watch here on E3 week and see how much exercise I do.
"In an effort to remind everyone that Painkiller Hell & Damnation is, in fact, just a game and not a monster hell-bent on ruining the minds of the masses," Nordic Games has released a whole bunch of new screenshots, following the announcement that the game will not be given an age rating in Germany.
It might not be a monster, but it is certainly blood-tastic.
Painkiller Hell & Damnation is the latest instalment in the legendary Painkiller series. It's essentially a modern remake of the classic, all-action shooter, and it seems that's enough to upset the Germans, who have effectively banned the game in their country.
Your task - unless you're in Germany - is to use an array of "righteous weaponry" to, ahem, "blast the crap" out of a whole bunch of demons and other nasty creatures, who are hell-bent on doing pretty much the same to you.
Painkiller Hell & Damnation is due out on October 31st (Halloween!), and comes in both a Standard and a Collector's Edition, depending on just what you're after. For a little more money, you'll also get an Artbook, a Making-of DVD, a 10-tune soundtrack, 5 stickers, 2 postcards, an extra poster, a single-player Tarot Card power-up, and an exclusive multiplayer skin. Check with your local retailers for this one, but chances are you'll be buying it online.
I like video games, fishing, Depeche Mode, long walks on the beach, writing discussion papers and cups of tea. Not necessarily in that order.
