Think E3 is easy?
Watch here on E3 week and see how much exercise I do.
It is now October, which means that the Max Payne 3 Hostage Negotiation DLC pack is officially late. Rockstar has admitted that it's just not done yet, and it will be launching some time "later this (North American) fall", so we can hope to see it before Christmas. Hope you weren't hanging out for it!
The pack contains four new multiplayer maps, set in all sorts of different locations including Favela Heights, O Palácio Strip Club, Club Moderno and Estádio Do Galatians. From gang-infested neighbourhoods to intense nightclub and stadium shootouts, you should be pretty well covered in the action stakes.
And that's not all - two new rifles are also thrown in, plus the Bomb Suit, Intimidation Mask, Explosive Burst booby traps and the Filhos De Ogum avatar faction.
Our apologies to Max Payne fans who've been waiting for this one and the other upcoming packs – we're working hard to bring you this and all the other DLC and should have a release date to announce for this next pack very soon.
...as compensation for the unexpected delay, members of the Rockstar Social Club will be rewarded with an all-new chrome weapons bonus, available free of charge. More details on that - and on the revised launch dates for the remaining DLC packs - out "soon".
I like video games, fishing, Depeche Mode, long walks on the beach, writing discussion papers and cups of tea. Not necessarily in that order.
