Think E3 is easy?
Watch here on E3 week and see how much exercise I do.
Nothing has been officially confirmed, but it looks like PAX Australia will be held in Melbourne, between July 19-21, 2013. The news comes after strong suggestions the expo would be in Brisbane or potentially Sydney, but leaked documents have let the Penny Arcade cat right out of the bag.
A sales document shared with Kotaku Australia contains all the relevant information, mentioning that the event would be organised locally by ReedPOP - the same management team who looks after both PAX events in the US.
More information - like an official statement - is expected in the not-so-distant future, but potentially this leak might bring things forward a little bit.
Melbourne is also home to the Freeplay Independent Games Festival, one of the host locations for GCAP (alternating with the Gold Coast), and hosts a vibrant games development scene - a natural fit for an event like PAX Australia.
I like video games, fishing, Depeche Mode, long walks on the beach, writing discussion papers and cups of tea. Not necessarily in that order.
