Think E3 is easy?
Watch here on E3 week and see how much exercise I do.
When Rock Band Blitz launched earlier this month, the biggest complaint from gamers was the lack of a music library for the new game. If you hadn't already loaded up your console with Rock Band 3 DLC, Blitz was a bit of a non-event - but Harmonix has come to your rescue, slashing prices on the Rock Band Music Library for one week only.
The promotion is celebrating the upcoming five year Rock Band anniversary (can you believe it's been that long?) - how better to celebrate than with a 50% off sale?
The Rock Band library has been updated for more than 250 weeks, meaning you've got a pretty significant number of songs to choose from, and "selected tracks" from the massive music library are up for sale, available either as individual tunes or in their associated packs.
Avenged Sevenfold, Blink-182, Boston, Disturbed, Foo Fighters, Jane's Addiction, Mötley Crüe, Nirvana, No Doubt, Oasis, Ozzy Osbourne, Paramore, Pearl Jam, Queen, Rush, Slipknot, System of a Down, The Cars, The Police, The Who and more!
So. What's on sale? Content for PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii! We could list all the songs and packs here, but that'd take a while (there's a lot of stuff). Instead, we'll point you in the direction of this handy catalogue, containing all the names you need to know.
This entire deal is set to kick off on Tuesday, September 18th (American time, presumably), so get out your highlighters and figure out just which tracks you'd like to rock out to. Tomorrow, it's shoppin' time.
I like video games, fishing, Depeche Mode, long walks on the beach, writing discussion papers and cups of tea. Not necessarily in that order.
