Severe exploit delays The Secret World Issue #2

The Secret World was in line to get its second content update this week, but Digging Deeper has now been delayed by at least a few days, so Funcom can fix a "severe exploit".

The nature of the bug was not revealed, but senior community manager Tarib explains it'll take a little while to fix:

We will keep on working over the weekend to fix the remaining issue and make sure that the final version will be ready for the live servers next week. As soon as all the details are available, we will announce the downtime for the update over the usual channels early next week.

Tarib promises that the team at Funcom is every bit as eager to get Issue #2 out to the Secret World servers as you are - but, of course, it's better to be safe than sorry.
