Valve reveals first 10 Greenlight games

Two weeks after launch, the first games have made it through the Steam Greenlight process, with Valve announcing ten games which have "reached critical mass" and are now lined up for worldwide distribution via Steam.

So, without further ado, the first 10 titles coming to Steam from Greenlight are:

The Steam community rallied around these titles and made them the clear choice for the first set of titles to launch out of Greenlight. Since launch, hundreds of titles have been submitted, with more coming in every day. We expect to be announcing more titles coming to Steam via Greenlight soon.

Don't expect to see these ten games popping up on Steam too soon, though - they are in "varying stages of completion", so some may still be a few months off.

The Greenlight program has copped a little flak since it was launched late last month. Originally planned as a free-for-all clearing house, Valve was forced to start charging developers in an effort to thwart troublemakers, spammers and "inappropriate content".
