Think E3 is easy?
Watch here on E3 week and see how much exercise I do.
The game only hit our consoles late last week, but already, Mark of the Ninja is seeing a Metascore of 90/100 based on 19 reviews - making it the highest-rated Xbox Live Arcade title of 2012, sharing the honours with Trials Evolution.
All developers believe their game is the bee's knees, but the kids at Klei don't seem to have expected other people to share their opinion.
Honestly, we’re kind of blown away by the reactions. We had no idea what to expect, but we certainly didn’t expect this.
Gamers across the world are infatuated with the game's new take on the stealth genre. Mark of the Ninja is a platformer, which puts you in the shoes of a ninja, whose clan is facing certain extinction. Your task - of course - is to help save them, by watching your enemies, utilising "simple yet versatile tools" and by generally being a ninja.
We just wanted to say thanks to everyone in the community who supported the game, who came to check out the game at PAX, who Twittered about the game and who told their friends about it. If you haven’t had a chance, check it out! We’d love to hear what you think.
If you haven't yet checked it out, Mark of the Ninja is available right now, worldwide, via Xbox Live Arcade. And, if the entry fee of 1200 Microsoft Points is too steep for you, feel free to try before you buy, with the game's free trial version also available.
I like video games, fishing, Depeche Mode, long walks on the beach, writing discussion papers and cups of tea. Not necessarily in that order.
