Think E3 is easy?
Watch here on E3 week and see how much exercise I do.
LittleBigPlanet Karting is making everybody a little excited, and developer United Front is adding fuel to the fire with the big announcement today of the game's story mode. Y'see, LBP Karting isn't just a racing game packed with customisations and cute characters. There's actually a whole lot of stuff going on which explains just why Sackboy has to drive so very, very fast.
This is our first real, close-up look at the Hoard - the "antithesis of Creative Sackartistry" - the baddies of Craftworld.
Michael Buffaloe is Community Coordinator for LittleBigPlanet Karting, and he explains the story much better than we could:
Long after Sackboy defeated the Negativitron in LittleBigPlanet 2, visitors from far, far away arrived on Craftworld driving speedy karts, with plans to seek out and steal its most precious prizes. These swarms of otherworldly scavengers became known as The Hoard.
Michael explains that the Hoard are trying to, well, hoard all of Craftworld's prizes, and Sackboy is none-too-pleased with that.
Unfortunately, he's also none-too-pleased with the fact that the Hoard has super-fast vehicles and can zoom straight past him. One day though, one of the Hoard crashes near him, losing his kart. The ever-clever Sackboy pinches the baddies' kart and races off, starting on his journey to drive out the Hoard, returning the prizes to Craftworld.
LittleBigPlanet Karting is Sackboy's fastest and most-competitive adventure yet, and it's hitting stores on November 7th. Better start warmin' up those racin' fingers, or this one might just zip past!
I like video games, fishing, Depeche Mode, long walks on the beach, writing discussion papers and cups of tea. Not necessarily in that order.
