Court is back in session: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney has arrived on the iTunes App Store, with the HD Trilogy pack available across the world. No longer restricted to Japan-only, you can now snag the first three games in the series - Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Justice for All and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations.
Finally, you can follow the career of the somewhat-eccentric attorney as he proves his (somewhat guilty) client's innocence, all from the safety and comfort of your iDevice. All of the gameplay first shown off on the Nintendo DS versions has been revamped and remastered, brought into HD and given a swanky set of responsive, on-screen controls (including simple swipe commands).
Plus! It's not just the games, although we'd be pretty pleased with that. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy HD also features the (free!) Everyone Object mode, meaning you'll be able to communicate your "displeasure at everyday situations" with a little help from your friends. With the tap of a button, you'll be able to email or tweet your "Objection!", along with an animated image (also available: "Hold it!" and "Take that!").
This will all be available in the iTunes App Store in the next few months, and you won't need anything special beyond iOS 5.0 if you want to play. Each of the three games will be available individually, or you can pick them up as a bundle - and if you're not sold on the idea just yet, the first two chapters of the original Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney will be available separately as a free demo.
I like video games, fishing, Depeche Mode, long walks on the beach, writing discussion papers and cups of tea. Not necessarily in that order.
