After waiting two years for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World to receive online multiplayer DLC, you'll now have to wait even longer, with Ubisoft pushing the DLC release back to the North American autumn - still another month or two off.
The official statement from Ubisoft explains what's going on (kinda):
The original release date was communicated incorrectly. We'll be releasing the DLC in the fall. More information to come as we get closer to launch.
The Scott Pilgrim DLC update also includes a playable version of Scott's gay roommate Wallace Wells (played by Kieran Culkin in the film adaptation), and was originally due on Xbox Live Arcade yesterday, nearly two full years since the original game hit shelves.
