Think E3 is easy?
Watch here on E3 week and see how much exercise I do.
Dontnod Entertainment is based in Paris, but the studio didn't necessarily want to share a setting with upcoming game Remember Me. Early development of the game saw Nilin far from the futuristic Eiffel Tower, with action playing out as far afield as the United States and Australia.
...and while we'd have loved to see the memory trade brought Down Under, there's no denying that the Neo-Paris we see now in Remember Me is now as much a part of the game as Nilin herself, offering a distinctive new look to the genre.
Neo-Paris was a late choice, because we wanted to stay away from it.
First we thought about Australia or the US, and then we were like, 'Well, let's just stick to Paris, because we have all the material, it's a great city, and it hasn't been done in the way we wanna do it.'
Moris explains that the Neo-Parisien setting adds to the game's "international feel" - a blend of French, American and even Japanese elements.
It's now being handled by Capcom, and heading to PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 in May 2013.
I like video games, fishing, Depeche Mode, long walks on the beach, writing discussion papers and cups of tea. Not necessarily in that order.
