Castle Crashers make their way carefully to PC

You know how we can tell how much you love Castle Crashers? Because you've managed to completely slaughter The Behemoth's website, you've been so excited about the news that everybody's favourite side-scrolling brawler is coming to PC.

So, given that the official blog post is out of action, you'll have to rely on us for all the juicy bits. And, unfortunately, there ain't too many.

Castle Crashers

...now heading to PC

Castle Crashers was launched on Xbox 360 in 2008, and on PS3 in 2010. Following the trend, it's been another two years, so it's about time for a new version of the game, and it's PC's turn.

Rather predictably, the game's headed to Steam, and comes with all the bells and whistles you might expect: Integrated voice chat, achievements, Steam Cloud support, and a heapin' helpin' of multiplayer - both local and online.

The announcement has come out of gamescom, but at this stage there's no word on a release date. You will be able to play it if you head along to PAX later this month, however.
