Demo PCs stolen at gamescom – reward offered

While gamescom 2012 is traditionally a time for celebration, Larian Studios isn't quite in the partying mood. Two PCs were stolen from the Belgian developer's booth (in the business hall, no less!), containing early builds of both Divinity: Original Sin and Divinity: Dragon Commander.

The team is using back-up PCs and still has both games on display (and playable), but would still really, really like to get the other machines back. Hopefully, a US$5000 reward will help someone come forward with information that helps identify the culprit and leads to the return of the PCs.

We're asking the game community to band together to track these criminals down and to get the games back!

Thievery is wrong, folks. It is a bad move to take something that is not yours, particularly when it's something as important as early versions of something people have been working on for months.

If you hear anything about a couple of PCs containing an unfinished copy of a great turn-based RPG set in Rivellon, with isometric perspective, strategic combat and co-op dialogue, let Larian know. The same thing applies if you see someone gloating about their pre-release strategy / RPG / action mashup, full of real-time combat, tactical warfare and (of course) giant dragons.
