If you've dipped your toes into the waters of The Secret World, but haven't yet been able to decide whether or not you'd like to pick yourself up a copy of the game, developer Funcom would like to make that decision a little easier: By offering 1,200 bonus points if you can make up your mind by Sunday, August 12th.
The carrot is only being dangled in front of those gamers who tried out the game during last weekend's free trial, and you really do need to make the decision before Sunday, August 12th.
Once you've got the points, you're free to do what you want with them. Assuming you'd like to spend them, Funcom warns that the points do have an expiry date, disappearing out of your account again on September 30th.
Before then, however, you can buy whatever you'd like! There is a "wide array of social clothing" available for your character, including full outfits (for 1080 points) as well as individual bits and pieces (for between 225 and 540).
...and of course, if you're still not sure, check out preview of The Secret World and let Matthew convince you.
I like video games, fishing, Depeche Mode, long walks on the beach, writing discussion papers and cups of tea. Not necessarily in that order.
