Think E3 is easy?
Watch here on E3 week and see how much exercise I do.
Good news, everyone! If you'd been waiting patiently for your chance to play Vanguard: Saga of Heroes when the clock ticked over to free-to-play time on August 14th, your wait just got significantly shorter. In fact, it's been wiped out completely - jump in right now, the game's free!
Sony has officially soft-launched the free-to-play version of the game (as well as its shiny new website) a week earlier than planned. We're not sure why, but we're not asking, either.
The latest update for the game puts it neatly:
The free-to-play matrix is now in effect. Anyone should be able to download the game for free from our new site.
The brand new update also adds the Vanguard in-game marketplace, removes restrictions based on race and class, and brings in a whole bunch of re-itemisation. There are also changes to NPCs, abilities, classes and an assortment of revamped quests - so you're really getting a lot of value for, well, absolutely no money. Can't really argue with that now, can you?
I like video games, fishing, Depeche Mode, long walks on the beach, writing discussion papers and cups of tea. Not necessarily in that order.
