Think E3 is easy?
Watch here on E3 week and see how much exercise I do.
If you're not sure which platform you want to grab Assassin's Creed 3 for quite yet, allow Sony and Ubisoft to sway you, slightly. The Playstation 3 version of the game will feature an extra hour of gameplay, exclusive to the console.
Neither company has made any official statement on the topic just yet, but the cat was let out of the bag thanks to Amazon, which updated the game's box art.
At this stage, it is unclear whether the extra 60 minutes will be made up of the PS3-exclusive DLC we were promised at E3, or if it will be on-disc content (and if it is DLC, whether it will be premium of free). Recent releases have shown that "exclusivity" is all relative, so it's also fair to wonder whether or not the "exclusive gameplay" will be a matter of time, with content eventually arriving on PC and Xbox 360.
Alternatively, this could be extra gameplay designed to tie in with the other exclusive Assassin's Creed on the way for Sony: The Vita-only Assassin's Creed: Liberation, due to launch on the same day as the home console version in late October.
I like video games, fishing, Depeche Mode, long walks on the beach, writing discussion papers and cups of tea. Not necessarily in that order.
