Are you in Australia and disappointed that you can't make it to E3, PAX or gamescom? Dry those tears - our very own gaming expo is hitting Sydney from October 5-7, as the EB Games Expo returns for a second year! This time around it's in an all new - even bigger - venue, promising more than 25,000 square metres of "gaming heaven".
You'll be given the chance to get your hands on some of the hottest games of 2012, hopefully with enough time for you to sort out your Christmas list! We've got the full list of which games have been confirmed for the show - and remember, you'll be able to spend quality time with each one.
We're also promised the new Gamer Gear Zone, showing off a whole bunch of nifty upcoming gaming accessories, plus the occasional "entertainment product".
Plus! There's even a new indie section! The Homegrown Gaming Zone will have its own space, packed with eSports, Cosplay, local game developers and other bits and pieces of gaming technology - and if you're looking for something a bit more kid-friendly, pop into the Family Zone for some entertainment that'll appeal to the younger audience (plus fun activities!).
You'd better be quick - tickets for this year's EB Games Expo are flying out the door: A whole bunch of passes have already sold out completely. You're still able to grab General Admission tickets for all three days (Friday 5th October /Saturday 6th October /Sunday 7th October ), as well as Express passes for Friday, and Family passes for Sunday. Selling super-quick though, so head down to your local EB Games outlet and grab yours today!
(Psst: Want to know how it all went last year? Check out Chad's "spectacular" review!)
I like video games, fishing, Depeche Mode, long walks on the beach, writing discussion papers and cups of tea. Not necessarily in that order.
