Think E3 is easy?
Watch here on E3 week and see how much exercise I do.
PS3 exclusive MotorStorm: Pacific Rift and its PSP counterpart MotorStorm: Arctic Edge will soon only be playable offline, as Sony officially (and permanently) closes the servers for both games on October 1st.
MotorStorm: Pacific Rift was launched in 2008, the second game in Sony's racing franchise. It takes gamers to a tropical island location, packed with all seven of the original vehicle classes (Mud Pluggers, Big Rigs, Bikes, ATVs, Racing trucks, Rally cars and Buggies), and also adds Monster Trucks into the mix. It was well received, back in the day, with reviewers praising the online multiplayer elements.
Arctic Edge followed soon after in 2009, taking the game to a third new location - Alaska, on the edge of the Arctic Circle (that name makes sense now, huh?). Launched exclusively for PSP, it is the only title in the franchise not to appear on PS3.
Both games join the original MotorStorm in the decomissioned pile.
I like video games, fishing, Depeche Mode, long walks on the beach, writing discussion papers and cups of tea. Not necessarily in that order.
